Conclusion of the agreement

When you purchase a subscription on mitblad.dk, you enter into an agreement with Story House Egmont A/S.

When you have made a purchase, you will receive a receipt as documentation of the agreement by e-mail. On your profile page on mitblad.dk you can see your payments and whether your subscription is active at any time.

How your subscription works

If you have purchased a subscription to a physical magazine, it will be sent no later than the publication date. If you have purchased a subscription to an e-magazine (digital magazine), you will have access to it on the publication date at the latest.

Unless otherwise stated, the subscription is ongoing, i.e. after the introductory period it will automatically continue at the current normal price until cancelled. Current standard prices can be found at mitblad.dk/normalpriser.

You must be over 18 years old to be a subscriber. If you are under the age of 18, we need your parents' or guardian's consent.

Prerequisites for purchase and/or use of e-magazines

You can access an e-magazine either as an add-on to your subscription to a physical magazine (when offered) or by taking out a subscription to an e-magazine.

To be able to read e-magazines, you must have a working internet connection and an email address, and you must have access to a tablet or smartphone with either iOS or Android operating system. However, your operating system must be a maximum of one year old.

Use of e-magazines is for private use only. Use of e-magazines in commercial and public contexts is not permitted.

A subscription to an e-magazine contains features that allow you to temporarily store content on the various devices on which this content can be accessed when you are offline. You have access to this content as long as you have a valid subscription. It is not permitted to acquire this content via mechanisms other than those available via subscription. Thus, the content may not be copied and/or otherwise made available.

Membership of book clubs

This is how your book club membership works.

We offer to deliver the books to addresses in Denmark, excluding Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Once we have received your order, the first book will be delivered to your mailbox 1-2 weeks later.
In some cases, the delivery time can be up to 4 weeks.
Thereafter, you will receive the following books in the series periodically.
You can cancel your membership at any time.
You will receive a separate invoice when you receive the book.
If you have not paid the invoice on time, we will send you one or more reminders with a reminder fee.
If you still haven't paid after the reminders, we will send the amount due to our lawyer for collection.

You must be over 18 years old to be a subscriber. If you are under 18, we need your parent or guardian's consent.

How to pay

If you choose to pay your subscription by credit card or MobilePay, you accept that Story House Egmont can automatically charge your credit card each time the subscription is renewed. You are responsible for updating your payment information if your credit card is cancelled or expires. You can do this on your profile page on mitblad.dk.

If you have not updated your payment information in time, your subscription will be charged via giro card, to which a giro card fee of DKK 49.00 per giro card sent will be added.

You can also choose to enrol your payment to Betalingsservice. By signing up for Betalingsservice, we will automatically ensure that the money is deducted from your account each time your subscription is due for renewal, unless you have cancelled your subscription in a timely manner. Payments via Betalingsservice are subject to a fee of DKK 12 per payment.

If you have chosen to pay your subscription by giro card, we will send this to you, either together with your magazine or in a separate letter. There is a giro card fee of DKK 49 per giro card sent out. Please pay this payment slip before the due date. In the event of non-payment, a reminder letter will be sent with a fee of DKK 100 per letter. We will send you a total of three reminders. If you still have not paid for your subscription, we will send the outstanding amount to our lawyer for collection.

To foreign countries including Greenland and the Faroe Islands, we charge postage that corresponds to our costs. See the price for each country at mitblad.dk.

Introductory offer and purchase of gift cards/gift subscriptions

If you have not previously subscribed to a magazine, you can, if offered, take advantage of an introductory offer. If you have previously subscribed to this magazine, you cannot take advantage of an introductory offer at the same delivery address until at least six months after your last subscription has ended. Circumvention of this may result in a demand for payment and/or cancellation of the subscription.

Purchasing gift cards and gift subscriptions

Gift vouchers and gift subscription activation codes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If the gift card or gift subscription is not activated within the 12 months, the gift card or gift subscription will be invalid. You can see the expiry date on your gift card when the purchase is complete.

The cancellation period for gift cards or gift subscriptions is 14 days. If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, please contact our customer service. For more information, see the next section on right of cancellation.

The holder of the gift voucher can request a refund before expiry and up to 12 months afterwards. This requires that the gift card or gift subscription is unused, i.e. the gift card has not been activated. The payment will be made by transfer to a bank.

Gift cards and gift subscriptions can only be redeemed for delivery in Denmark and cannot be exchanged for other current offers.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel your subscription purchase for 14 days. The right of cancellation is calculated from the time you receive your first magazine or gift card code. If you placed your order on Monday the 1st, you have until the 15th. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, you can wait until the following working day. The right of cancellation is met if you send your notice of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

You can only use your right of cancellation if you have not yet used your subscription or gift card code. In practice, this means that you have not started reading a magazine, activated a gift voucher code and/or downloaded a magazine or other content to your tablet or smartphone. If you wish to redeem the value of your gift voucher in cash, this must be done by contacting Customer Service directly. A fee of DKK 50 will be charged regardless of the value of the gift voucher.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you must notify Story House Egmont A/S, Strødamvej 46, DK-2100 Copenhagen Ø, in an unambiguous written statement before using the subscription and before the expiry of the 14-day period.

Story House Egmont will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date we receive your cancellation notice. PLEASE NOTE! You are liable for postage costs.

Cancellation

You can choose to cancel your subscription at any time until the end of the current subscription period.

If you wish to cancel your subscription with shorter notice (minimum one month's notice), please call us. If the subscription is binding, it can only be cancelled after the binding has expired.

Cancellation of the subscription is done on your profile page on mitblad.dk. Here you can also see when your current subscription period expires.

Non-payment or refusal to receive the magazine is not considered a cancellation of subscription and does not exempt you from payment.

Changes to your information

If you have any changes to your subscription, e.g. change of address, change of payment period, registration for Betalingsservice and more, this is done on the profile page at mitblad.dk. It is your own responsibility to inform us of any address changes, as we are not automatically notified. Changes must be notified no later than 14 days before they are to take effect. The same applies to temporary or holiday addresses.

Introductory offers and offers that include a welcome gift

If your welcome offer includes a gift, this will be sent no later than three weeks after your payment has been registered.

If you take out a subscription with an accompanying welcome gift where the recipient address is different from the payer address, the gift will always be sent to the payer. However, this does not apply if the payer resides abroad. In this case, you can only take out a subscription without a gift.

If you have not collected the parcel within the deadline, it can be resent for a fee of DKK 75 to cover postage and handling.

The parcel will be delivered by DAO to a parcel shop near you, so it is important to provide the correct address, email and mobile number.

We make reservations for sold out gifts.

When you give a subscription as a gift to someone else, the subscription will continue until cancelled, unless otherwise stated in the offer. Payment slips will be sent to the original payer.
